Recycle Week takes place from 14–20 September 2026, encouraging us all to think more carefully about the materials we use and what happens to them afterwards.

- Wooden cards use FSC-certified, sustainably sourced wood and can incorporate barcodes, QR codes, NFC or RFID technology.
- Recyclable PVC cards can be recycled through suitable specialist PVC recycling facilities.
Responsible card production isn’t simply about replacing one material with another. It’s about considering how the card will be used, how long it needs to last and how it can be dealt with responsibly at the end of its useful life.
Producing a durable card for a long-term purpose can help avoid unnecessary replacements, while choosing a recyclable board option may make more sense for a short event.
