Yes wood cards are more sustainable than PVC cards. They are made from renewable materials, reduce plastic use and have a lower environmental impact. Our wood cards are made from FSC certified sustainably managed forests.
What wood card finishes are available?

Our wood cards are available in multiple wood finish options, including – Bamboo, Basswood, Beech, Cherry and Maple – all finishes are available at the same great quality and the same great price.

Please note that each card will have subtle differences due to the natural properties of the stunning raw material – making each card perfectly unique!

These enhance rather than detract from the natural beauty of our wood cards.
What type of personalisation is available?

Wood cards can be personalised to both sides – from simple text and images to barcodes and QR codes and even signature strips, magnetic stripes and foils.
Printing or Etching – which should I choose?

Both options are available and look beautiful on our wooden cards.

Printing allows the use of vivid colours on your wooden card, whilst laser etching produces a more natural, monotone appearance.

We suggest that print is best for fine details, small text and intricate designs, whilst laser etching is perfect for larger text and less complicated designs.
What technologies can be incorporated into wood cards?

Wood cards can be supplied with or without technology inserts.

A wide range of technologies are available, including Mifare, Fudan and all other major chips.
What sizes options are available for wood cards?

The majority of wood cards are supplied in standard CR80 (86 x 54mm) size but custom shapes and sizes are available, including wooden hangers, oversized passes and signs.
